Welcome

The City of Lights is a non profit school of new age philosophy and metaphysics and was founded by Master Teacher and author Davara. Davara has been teaching fourth dimensional philosophy, that has enlightened students across the United States, for more then thirty years.

The teachings are designed to help each student unfold with the natural evolution of the soul. And the transmutation of attitudes that hold us back from realizing our greater potential. Attitudes are the direct link to who we are and where we are going, now and in the future.

If we are suffering an effect it can be linked most times to the attitude. There are never any pat answers.

The philosophy and the school were founded and adhere to always paying close attention to the basics;

  1. You are responsible for your own actions (cause & effect)
  2. Do to others what you would have done to you
  3. What is right for one is not necessarily right for another, (to thine own self be true.)
  4. Above all, demonstrate the best possible behavior (actions speak louder then words). And when it comes down to words, know the source. Question everything and reason it out intelligently (by their fruits you shall know them)--Whom is telling you what and is it quality?
  5. What someone else thinks of me is none of my business (stop the gossip and the petty tit for tat).

These basics form the foundation for students to really begin to work on themselves in a process of discovery and awareness. Not just self awareness, but being aware of the world around us, and truly becoming a universal citizen. Not being self-centered, but centering on the self.

One of Davara's best compliments to a student is when she says, "You've finally learned to think with your heart and feel with your mind."

Make no mistake about it, growing and becoming aware is not without a lot of pain and sacrifice. Learning which is which and what is what, teaches us the complexities of ourselves and the world we live in. Understanding is the cornerstone to the fourth dimensional philosophy and The City of Lights.
